Samson came home today. It was a shock to see him, as they had to amputate above the shoulder. He cried on the way home in the car, it was heart breaking, both my husband and I were holding back the tears, but he settled down once we were home and is even standing and hoping a short distance and wagging his tail.
Welcome home Samson! I’m glad you blogged. Please do share more and hop over to the Forums if you want help or have questions OK? We are here for you.
Feel better soon my friend. You are so adorable!
Thanks so much.
SAMSON, YOU ARE ADORABLE!! OMD! Sooooo cute! I’m in love!
Recovery is no picnic, that’s for sure! My Happy Hannah whined and cried and would not seetle down at all for 19 hours straight! Yeah, it tears ya’ up to see them so miserable. For her, it took almost three weeks for the sparkle to come back. But when it did, it was bigger and brighter than ever!!!
Yes, please keep us updated and tell us more about your special Samson! It’s crazy journey…don’t go it alone! We all understand the depth of love you have for Samson. And the spoiling…..OMD…..it will go on nonstop now!!! 🙂
Hugs to all!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Thanks so much for sharing. Samson is a different dog today!
He’s wagging his tail, hoping around, barking at the coffee machine (we had to take the coffee grinder into another room) so he didn’t over exhert himself, as he likes to spin round in circles when he gets excited and he did start spinning around on 3 legs and we are only on day 2!
He also licked my husbands feet this moring, which is another sign he’s feeling better – it sounds gross, but it actually feels quite nice when it dosen’t tickle.lol..
Hugs back and thanks for your support
